Floorman Waikato create this safer, non-slip textured concrete surface using a process called bush hammering which utilises large 3 phase machinery with specialist tungsten tipped tooling. This is then treated with densifiers and sealers. This process enhances the concrete's appearance, and because it is part of the concrete (not a coating), the texture will last, ensuring your surface remains safe and slip-free for generations. This system can be applied to new or existing old concrete that may need a non-slip or refurbished new look.

The PeterFell Texture Safe System for concrete surfaces
The PeterFell Texture Safe System offers a range of slip resistant options. All of these meet the AS/NZS 3661.1 1993 “Slip resistance of pedestrian surfaces” standards. There are three different texture options - either a fine, medium or coarse surface can be achieved using different tooling on the machines. Texture Safe is part of the concrete and it will last for decades. A C2 densifier is added to the concrete to create a more durable texture profile.
